Metatrader profiles are a convenient way to save and restore a group of MT4 forex charts along with their personal settings. Now it becomes very easy to move your entire predefined charting setup to another MT4 forex broker, to another trading computer,.. without having to completely recreate your favorite charting setup(s) from scratch.

How do I move and install Metatrader 4 profiles to another MT4 broker on the same computer?

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Metatrader 4 (“old” broker’s name)\profiles.

2. Drag-and-drop profiles from your “old” broker to your desktop or any other folder on your computer.

3. Go to C:\Program Files\Metatrader 4 (“new” broker’s name)\profiles on your new computer.

4. Drag-and-drop profiles (step2) into the “new” broker’s profiles folder.

5. Re-start the “new” broker’s Metatrader 4 platform. Now you can load profiles.
